Because a number of you asked this weekend, here is a copy of my homily from today (please ignore the "type-o's".
There are also some websites that you might find very helpful to you as parents, trying to raise your children in this culture today. Here are some great sights - I hope they are helpful:
- Fathers for Good.
- Catholic Parents OnLine
- Parent's Duty
- Teaching Catholic Kids Links
- Apostolate for Family Consecration
- For Your Marriage
- Domestic Church . com
- Women for Faith and Family
And the homily:
Thank you for a great sermon today. I think you got the message across. Please repeat it from time to time. In talking with my youngest daughter not long ago, she was complaining about the "sexy" clothes that are out now for young teenagers (my granddaughter is just shy of 13). My daughter says that she hates to take her shopping. Thank God I'm an old grandmother now!!!!! Take care.
ReplyDeleteExcellent, excellent sermon. thank you for saying it.
ReplyDeleteI was out of town the weekend of this homily. My two daughters told me how great the homily was. Thanks for posting it! I, too, enjoyed it! What an excellent message, one that needs repeating every once in a while :) Thanks for all that you do!
