Parish World Youth Day Participatants Depart

Today our 6 parish pilgrims begin their journey toward Madrid, Spain for the celebration of World Youth Day with Pope Benedict XVI.  Today, we will meet at the parish at 1:30 to pack the car and drive over to Gettysburg where we will meet the other members of our group (one of 4 diocesan groups) including participants from Holy Infant in York Haven, St. Francis Xavier in Gettysburg, St. Joseph in Hanover and Saint Theresa in New Cumberland.  We will celebrate Mass as a group and then depart for our overnight flight from Dulles airport to Paris, then Toulouse, then a 3-hour bus ride to Lourdes, our first destination.

Please keep all the pilgrims in your prayers as we begin our journey - as we will remember you in our prayers throughout this 12-day pilgrimage.
